Wesley Norman, PhD, DSc developed this web page for his students at George town University. “These Web Pages are dedicated to all the students with whom I had the good fortune of teaching at Georgetown University. They are meant to be studied by the person who is just interested in learning a little about human anatomy, as a review of previous anatomy courses or for anyone else who might find the lessons helpful.”

University of Minnesota’s Web Anatomy. “Excessive use of WebAnatomy activities will promote a basic level of understanding of human anatomy, but research data shows no relationship between increased use of WebAnatomy and improved higher order thinking skills. The creators of this site recommend multiple methods of study (i.e., reading your text, using concept maps, etc.) to succeed in rigorous anatomy and physiology courses.”

This site provides a database of medical mnemonics gathered from a group of contributors (many of them doctors). Search, or browse by topic such as anesthesiology, cardiology, pathology, immunology, and urology. Also includes a version of the database for portable devices and links to related sites.”
